Vacuum sealing liquids—whether it’s homemade soup, marinated meats, or fresh smoothies—feels tricky at first: too much suction, and you risk spilling liquid into your handheld cordless vacuum sealer; too little, and your seal won’t keep contents fresh. But with the right steps, it’s easy to lock in flavor, prevent freezer burn, and protect your handheld cordless vacuum sealer—no messy mishaps required. Below’s how to do it safely and effectively.
If the silicone rubber sheet with spring was removed, reinstall it first. This component is essential for preventing liquid from leaking into the machine’s internal parts during wet vacuuming.
Insert the draining tube into the best cordless portable vacuum sealer’s exit hole. This tube acts as a channel to direct excess liquid away, stopping it from spraying out of the machine and keeping the area clean.
Move the liquid-filled vacuum pack bags near a washing sink. Place the free end of the draining tube into the sink (or a designated collection box) to catch any liquid that drains out during the process.
Align the open edge of the liquid-filled bag with the machine’s vacuum seal strip. Press the vacuum sealing machine firmly onto the vacuum pack bags to create a tight seal—this ensures air (and liquid) is suctioned through the correct path, not escaping from gaps.
